Varahi Deeksha is traditionally observed at the end of the Jyestha month or during the Ashadha month. It involves rigorous practices, including the consumption of satvik food, sleeping on the ground, remaining barefoot, and abstaining from non-vegetarian food and alcohol. This is not the first time Kalyan has engaged in such a spiritual practice; he also worshipped Goddess Varahi in June 2023.
